Attic Sessions
Audiovisual Evenings Upstairs
Attic Sessions is a brand new event series that aims to uncover and celebrate audiovisual experimentation in Pōneke.
Each evening offers a unique and intimate, sit-down experience. Lighting, projections, and optical manifestations of a selected visual artist will accompany two performances from musicians working across electro-acoustic, noise, and other experimental sound practices.
Session #1:
📽[visual artist]
✴️☄️VJ Pixelotti (Grace Bella) threads tactile, hand-made animations with traces of machinic agency. Unfurling sound through shadows, she seeks to resituate the carnal self in digital media and examine notions of shared experience through slippery worlds of light.

🌀🐎Fox Moss
Niamh "Fox" Woollin is a multimedia artist, designer and musician. Fascinated by spirals and horses, their work varies from surreal and ethereal paintings, to electronic ambient soundscapes.
🌾⏳Grains (duo)
Grains is the project of synth kids Peregrin Hyde and Calum Turner. Having spent the past few years playing in a 5-piece band, Grains will return to their roots for an evening, performing as their original ambient-synth duo. Timbre and cadence, muesli and crunch.
