Attention Autism - Foundation Level

This two-day course equips professionals with the skills to deliver the four-stage Attention Autism™ Programme that has been devised and developed by Gina Davies.

The Attention Autism programme aims to improve joint attention and spontaneous communication through group sessions. It also supports the development of independence, turn-taking and other social interaction skills.

This foundation level training focuses on the practical aspects of the programme; there are videos, live demonstrations and lots of opportunities to practice and develop creativity in relation to devising activities. It also covers the principles behind the approach.

Cost: £240 per person for two days.

Day 1: Thursday 28th November 2024, 9am-4pm, at Learn Sheffield

Day 2: Friday 13th December 2024 , 9am-4pm, at Learn Sheffield

This training course will be run by Alice Mount, an Attention Autism Advanced Practitioner. Alice is also a phase leader and class teacher at Rowan School in Sheffield.

Please note: this course requires a minimum number of participants to run. We reserve the right to cancel the course if minimum numbers are not reached. All monies paid will be reimbursed to participants through the Eventbrite booking platform to the card the participant paid with.
