Making their debut at the historical Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) on Friday April 18th is Atomic Blondie, a tribute to Blondie! Led by Toronto vocal phenom Sherrie Lea and backed by some of Toronto’s finest musicians, Atomic Blondie recreates the high energy of Blondie’s early performances at the Legendary CBGB. They are quickly becoming one of the busiest tribute acts around and always leave their audience going home satisfied after an evening of dancing! Every legendary song is faithfully recreated, complete with authentic outfits to give their audiences the live experience of listening to Debbie Harry and Blondie preform some of the most memorable hits of the 1970’s and 1980’s! The infectious pop melodies, driving punk classics dance numbers, performed by one of the most talented singers of the era are what make Blondie so memorable after 50 years. This is going to be a fun night filled with nostalgia, partying and dancing. What better way to kick off the long weekend with an evening of Atomic Blondie! Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. The show starts at 9:30pm.
