About this Event
Tha AC Latino Festival will be held in a beautiful new venue at the Showboat's new outdoor event center located on the Boardwalk and New Jersey Ave, Atlantic City, NJ. The festival is full of the rhythms from throughout Latin America including international merengue diva Miriam Cruz. Cruz was the lead vocalist for the successful all female merengue group, Las Chicas Del Can. Also headlining will be Salsa stars Edgar Joel & Anthony Colon, celebrating 40 years of entertainment. In addition to these great artists there will be a diverse group of Hispanic entertainment, including Mariachi, Salsa, Cumbia and Folkloric dance groups. This festive family event includes, authentic Hispanic foods, beverages, and a variety of vendors. In addition, there will be a resource fair comprised of organizations providing information and resources on health, social services, education, and career opportunities. This community event is hosted by the Hispanic Association Of Atlantic County (HAAC) with the sponsorship of CRDA, the City of Atlantic City and in collaboration with Organization Azteca, NJDCA and the Atlantic City Initatives Office.
Entry for the event is free of charge, however there is a $10 parking fee. Attendees are asked to register at the festival’s website (www.aclatinofest.com). Information and registration to become a vendor or to volunteer is also available at the festival website.
