About this Event

Join us as we honor National Crime Victims' Rights Week!

Through National Crime Victims' Rights Week we honor crime victims and survivors, recognize the professionals and volunteers who provide critical services to victims of crime, and raise awareness about crime victims’ rights and services. The 2024 theme asks all of us—friends, family members, neighbors, colleagues, community leaders, victim service providers, criminal justice practitioners, and health professionals—'how we can help crime victims?'

This year, Atlanta Victim Assistance, Inc. (AVA) will be presenting a series of theater performances created in partnership with Atlanta Public Schools and Carver STEAM Academy. These performances will prompt us to consider the options, services, and hope we can offer crime victims and their loved ones. We hope to see you there!

Atlanta Victim Assistance, Inc. (AVA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that advocates for the fundamental rights of victims and witnesses of crime with compassion, dignity, and respect. AVA serves crime victims and their families in Atlanta by providing free and comprehensive services to remove barriers, strengthen victims and their families, and foster a healthy transition from victim to survivor.
