An evening to honor the cross-cultural exchange of the Atlanta-Lagos sister city agreement through art.
About this Event

The Atlanta Mayor’s Offices of International & Immigrant Affairs and Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the Atlanta Beltline, is celebrating the fifty-year anniversary of the Alanta-Lagos Sister City agreement by hosting two artists from Lagos. The artists are a part of the public art residency and exhibition sponsored by the Atlanta Beltline and curated by Lauren Tate Baeza.

Join a blend of artists, Nigerian community, Africans in the Diaspora, and art lovers in a townhall style talk on the Atlanta-Lagos sister city agreement, the importance of artist residencies like this, the artists' work process and the unveiling of the artists' public art.
