Ready to ride the train like a pro? Join us for a crash course on Atlanta’s transit system! We’ll cover the do’s and don’ts of MARTA, ride into the city just in time for the 404 Day Parade, and give you the freedom to explore Downtown or venture across the network.
Best for Residents of: Stonecrest, Snellville, Lithonia, Redan, Lilburn, Conyers, Tucker, Clarkston, Stone Mountain, Avondale Estates, Decatur, Centerville, and Loganville. More tours to come!
Field Trip Itinerary:
9:40 AM - 9:50 AM - Meet @ Kensington Station (Park in Parking Lot 2)
10:02 AM - Catch the train
10:30 AM - Arrive @ Five Points Station - Explore Downtown or enjoy the 404 Day Parade
12:15 PM - Group meets back at Five Points
12:32 PM - Catch the train back to suburbs
1:00 PM - Arrival @ Kensington
What You Need to Know:
- Free parking available at Kensington Station (use Parking Lot 2)
- Download the Breeze Mobile app & buy a round-trip ticket before arriving
- Wear comfy shoes – we’ll be walking!
- Charge your phone ahead of time - your train tickets will be on there.
- We’ll text/email you if MARTA schedule changes affect our departure
- Bring your patience and expect the unexpected
