About this Event
We're continuing the Atlanta Fatherhood Tour in Clayton County to build community for fathers and literacy in kids.
Hosted by The Library Dads, this five-month tour is a compilation of Library Link-ups held in Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb and Gwinnett.
This is an opportunity to bond with your kids in a fun and free environment, while also connecting with other dads in your community.
Why This Matters: We have two core beliefs. First, reading skills play a direct correlation on academic success and economic opportunities. Secondly, fathers need to feel heard and understood to reverse the epidemic of isolation among men. Our community program is designed to meet both needs.
What To Expect: There will be reading, blocks, puzzles, games, coloring and other fun bonding activities with the kids. There’s also plenty time for open conversations among dads.
Who Is This For: The program is tailored for kids ages 0-8, but older children are welcome. A father or father figure must be present.
What To Bring: You're welcome to bring light snacks for your kids. Other than that, just bring the DAD energy! We got the rest.

The Library Dads, Inc. is a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Organization based in Atlanta, Ga. designed to empower bonding experiences between dads and their children, expose kids to the power and joy of books and establish a supportive brotherhood of active fathers.

By registering for this event, I understand that participation in The Library Dads’ Library Link-up (Event) is voluntary. I have considered any risk and hereby give myself, my child(ren) and/or attendees permission to participate in the Event. I understand it is my duty to remain with my child(ren) and/or attendees throughout the duration of the event. I hereby waive, release and discharge The Library Dads, Inc. and all related individuals or entities involved in the organization of the Event (collectively, "The Library Dads") of any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions or causes of action that may arise out of or in connection with the participation in the Event from myself, my child(ren) and/or attendees. This lease of liability shall extend to all claims of any kind, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, death and other unforeseen risks. I further give The Library Dads permission to take and use, for its promotional and educational purposes, across any and all mediums, any photograph or videotape of myself, my child(ren) and/or attendees taken during the Event.
