About this Event

Join Bobbie Butters for a look into the intricacies of her training schedule as she journeys toward the World Games 2025.

Come and hear from a Team Grate Britain athlete and learn about her second life, as a full-time lecturer in sports and exercise science, a strength and conditioning coach, a well as being a PhD student.

Learn about what goes into being an athlete while working full time, from the mental strategies to manage stress, to the time management needed to remain disciplined in work and rest!

There are only so many hours in the day, and so often, it feels like it's not enough. Join us for this talk and find out how you can make the best use of your time to work on your fitness while still doing everything else in your day.

Our free public talks are held each month to ignite discussion and share interesting ideas and knowledge with everyone. Whether you’re a student, professional, or simply a curious person, our lectures are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
