Friday evening’s Amuse-Bouche will kick off Athens Wine Weekend. Guests will enjoy bite-sized appetizers from local favorites including Butcher & Vine, George's Lowcountry Table, International Grill and Bar, Levy, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and South Kitchen + Bar with wine perfectly paired by Shawn Butcher from Eagle Rock Distributing Company.
Sip and sample a variety of wines at Saturday’s Grand Tasting, presented by Akins Ford of Winder. Join us at 11:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. to enjoy this wide array of wines. Interested in more than just the tasting? Dive into one of the many seminars such as "It’s All Greek to Me," presented by celebrity chef Georgios Kastanias, or "Chardonnay All Day" to learn from the best local wine educators.
Top off the evening with a highlight of Athens Wine Weekend, Gourmet Dinner. This exquisite six-course French meal is expertly prepared by The Classic Center's Executive Chef with Levy, while the wines of the courses are hand-selected by Frank Sinkwich, President of Northeast Sales Distributing. From start to finish this event is guaranteed to deliver a culinary experience like no other.
End the weekend on a high note with Sparkling Wine Brunch and enjoy specialty mimosas with delicious food. Grab your significant other or a few girlfriends and close out the weekend in style.
