You're invited to the 3rd annual Athens Community Welcome event on October 21st, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Armory (2 West Carpenter Street Athens, OH 45701)! The event is free and open to all. Catering from local businesses will be available throughout the event while supplies last.This in-person event is a collaboration between the City of Athens, the Athens County Foundation, the Athens Community Relations Commission and Megan Macartney Realtor/The Athens Real Estate Company. The primary purpose of the event will be to provide an opportunity for individuals new-ish to the Athens area to get connected with members of the community who are connected to local organizations, ask questions, learn about existing resources and share ideas about how to continue to make Athens a welcoming and inclusive place.
Please RSVP for the event by Friday, October 10th, 2025 via the QR code, so that we can try to have a headcount for food and activity planning purposes.
