Description:
In honor of Kent State University Museum’s 40th anniversary season, the exhibition “Sparkle: The Style and Jewelry of Aileen Mehle” honors the glamorous society columnist, Aileen Mehle (1918-2016) and showcases dozens of her evening dresses and jewels to reframe her role as a forgotten fashion icon. The exhibition includes a specially designed installation – an imagined, custom-built closet showcasing Mehle’s garments, offering an intimate and engaging glimpse into her iconic style.

- Will include a curator-led tour of the exhibit
- Free parking in Rockwell Hall Parking Lot
