Atelier`s Weekend Theatre Programme, popularly known as WTP is the flagship programme by Atelier Theatre since 2007. With over 37 batches till date, this programme has evolved over the years. Perfect blend of theory and practise, WTP is an ideal programme for working professionals who cannot engage with creative pursuits during weekdays but intend to discover their hidden potential through theatre. Also, this programme has become the stepping stone for several full-timers now. A few have picked up cinema; others are using theatre skills in their respective jobs (teaching; IT & strategic managerial positions).
The 9 weekend programme runs on Saturdays & Sundays (4-7pm) and culminates into a work-in-progress performance, generally performed for public at Akshara Theatre or any other black box theatre, giving platform and audience to aspiring actors and performers.
