Each Month Atelier hosts a Restorative with Yoga Nidra to set our intentions, release tension, reset, and come together in community.Restorative yoga is a profoundly deep practice that offers rejuvenation on the cellular level. Poses are supported by bolsters, blankets, and blocks while your body learns to let go of chronic tensions and limited breathing patterns. The restorative practice will be followed by a full yoga nidra, a guided meditation that is practiced lying down to facilitate a deep relaxation for the mind and body. Each month has a specific theme to stay in tune with the current season and inspired by Ayurvedic principles.

Registration for all Fall and Winter Dates are open on our website at www.ateler20perry.com. Space is limited and does fill. All Restorative/Yoga Nidra events are from 9:30am-11:30am.

About the teacher:
This event is taught by Jessica Majka each month. Jessica is the owner and founder of Atelier and has taught for over 20 years. She has taught in studios in NYC, Rhinbeck New York , Washington D.C, Seattle, Malibu, Ft. Collins Colorado, India, and Newnan as well as teaching privately, in clinical settings. She's given talks on meditation at NYU Langone Medical center NICU and helped in development of programs for both HBO and Time Warner in NYC while pursuing her passion for dance and teach with in teacher training programs in NYC and D.C. She continues to study worldwide to deepen her practice and her teaching skills.
