Au cours de cet atelier de deux heures, vous découvrirez l'impression sur linoléum, une technique d'impression en relief qui consiste à traduire une image sur du linoléum et à la sculpter afin de créer un tampon.
Cet atelier est d'autant plus spécial que nous nous sommes associés au Dissident Club afin de redonner à la communauté exilée à Paris par la créativité. Dans cet esprit, nous allons créer une pièce collaborative inspirée de la communauté et de la croissance collective.
Le Dissident Club est un café & bar intellectuel à Paris où se rencontrent les dissidents du monde entier. Ils organisent des événements intellectuels : conférences, expositions et projections. Lancé en février 2020, il est dirigé par deux journalistes pakistanais en exil : Sara Farid & Taha Siddiqui qui ont trouvé l'exil à Paris et veulent continuer à aider à travers leur travail. 10 % des bénéfices seront reversés aux réfugiés en exil basés à Paris par le biais de la fondation à but non lucratif du Dissident Club.
Le déroulé :
– se familiariser avec le matériel et la technique
– dessiner et creuser ses tampons
– encrage et positionnement de la plaque et ...
– impression des cartes !
A la fin de la séance vous aurez créé une collection unique de cartes, imprimées à la main, prêtes à accrocher (ou à offrir) et un oeuvre collaboratif.
Ainsi, vous partirez avec vos tampons, une collection d’art faite main, mais aussi avec des nouvelles connaissances et (on l’espère) des nouvelles amitiés !
Quoi apporter ?
Nous fournissons tous les matériels, boissons et des choses à grignoter .
N’hésitez pas à apporter vos idées si vous avez déjà un projet à réaliser en tête.
* Conscientes du contexte sanitaire, nous aurons du gel hydroalcoolique à disposition.
** En cas d'annulation par cause sanitaire, l'atelier sera reporté.

ENG | Join us on Saturday, May 28th at 3:00 pm for a lino printing workshop taught by the Creative Gathering’s team !
In this 2 hour workshop, you will be learning about lino printing, a relief printing technique where an image is translated to linoleum and carved out in order to create a stamp.
This workshop is extra special as we have partnered with The Dissident Club in order to give back to the exiled community in Paris through creativity. In spirit with this, we will be creating a collaborative piece inspired on community and collective growth.
The Dissident Club is an intellectual cafe & bar in Paris where dissidents of the world meet. They organize intellectual events: talks, exhibitions & screenings. Launched in Feb 2020, its run by two Pakistani journalists-in-exile: Sara Farid & Taha Siddiqui who found exile in Paris and want to continue aiding through their work. 10 % of profits will be donated to Paris-based refugees in exile through the non-profit foundation by The Dissident Club.
The order of the workshop is as follows :
– learning about the materials and the technique, experimenting!
– sketching and carving your own stamps
– learning to print
– printing the cards!
At the end of the workshop, you will be leaving with a set of stamps and prints done fully by yourself to hang at home or gift to your loved ones, a collaborative artwork, a new technique to continue experimenting at home, and hopefully some new friendships.
What to bring?
We will be supplying all necessary materials and visual inspiration to get your creativity flowing, and of course, a few snacks If you have any ideas you would like to work on.
Don't be shy and bring any visual resources (drawings, sketches, photos, etc.) of your own!
* Because of the sanitary context, we'll have hydro-alcoholic gel available.
** Should the event be canceled for sanitary reasons, we'll postpone it for another date.
