Join us for the Quinceañera of the School of Transborder Studies as we celebrate 15 years of academic excellence, community-building, and transformative education. This special event honors the origins of the School, which began in 1997 with the establishment of the Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies. We will recognize the pioneering founders of Chicano Studies and celebrate the leadership of Dr. Carlos G. Vélez-Ibañez, the founding director of the School of Transborder Studies in 2010. This milestone is not just a reflection on the past, but a look toward the bright future of the School as it continues to empower the next generation of scholars, leaders, and change-makers. Don’t miss this vibrant celebration of legacy, progress, and the ongoing commitment to shaping the future.
The funds will be used to support student scholarships, projects, and initiatives in the School of Transborder Studies.
All funds will be deposited with the ASU Foundation, an independent private 501(c)(3) organization that exists to support ASU. Tax identification 86-6051042.
