How did our Sun form, and what will it become at the end of its life? What are gravitational lenses, and how do they allow us to see matter, which would otherwise be invisible? Join us Monday, February 24th at 7:30PM as we discuss these topics and more at our next Astronomy on Tap. We'll host two ~20 minute public-level talks, Q&A, and then follow it up with interactive, astronomical pub trivia, live music with local rockstar Jason Achilles, and guided stargazing with telescopes!
Astronomy on Tap is a worldwide phenomenon where scientists take over local bars to discuss their research in 20-minute informal talks over beers. We host events at an outdoor space at the Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. Event is totally free and open to all (including minors), no reservations necessary.
