What powers our Sun to shine over billions of years? How can we create similar reactions here on Earth to solve our energy needs? Join us Thursday, November 20th at 7:30PM as we discuss these topics and more at our next Astronomy on Tap. We'll host two ~20 minute talks, Q&A, and then follow it up with interactive, astronomical pub trivia, and guided stargazing with telescopes! This week, we are collaborating with plasma physicists from around the country for a special series of Astronomy on Tap events! Astronomy on Tap is a worldwide phenomenon where scientists take over local bars to discuss their research in 20-minute informal talks over beers. We host events at an outdoor space at the Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. Event is totally free and open to all (including minors), no reservations necessary.
