About this Event
We are delighted announce our Royal Observatory Edinburgh Astronomy for All Talk Special hosted at McDonald Road Library!
On Monday 14th October, we have Professor Chris Lintott, an astrophysicist at the University of Oxford who specialises in galaxy formation and occasionally, planet hunting! He is also an author, and a broadcaster for the BBC's long-running Sky at Night program. He's here at McDonald Road for the launch of his new book 'Our Accidental Universe'.
These talks are for people with a curiosity about the Universe, and don't assume that you know much (or anything) about the topic before you arrive. They should be suitable for you if you're between 12 and 200 years old and you want to find out more about the science and technology of space. If you're interested in attending other talks in the series at the Royal Observatory, click here.
PLEASE NOTE: These are sit-down talks in a hall and this special is NOT at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh
