Come discover the universe one star at a time in an evening of wonder and exploration under the night sky! This interactive event kicks off with a brief, engaging talk by a local astronomer, who will guide us through the science behindwhat we’ll see above—planets, stars, constellations, and more.
After the sun sets, we’ll do some real-time stargazing! Using telescopes and guided sky maps, you’ll get the chance to apply what you’ve learned and identify celestial objects for yourself. It's like a cosmic game of "I spy"—with Saturn, star clusters, and maybe even a passing satellite!
Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned sky-watcher, this event is perfect for all ages. Bring a blanket, a flashlight with red cellophane, and your sense of wonder. We’ll provide the rest. Prizes will be provided for those who complete our
stargazing competition.
