🌟 Astrology Basics & How to Read Your Birth Chart Workshopwith Krystal Sanchez & Jaime Ehrenberg

Have you been curious about astrology but unsure where to begin? Maybe you’ve explored your sun sign online, but you’re ready to understand the deeper layers of your birth chart—with a little support to help it all make sense.
Join Krystal Sanchez and Jaime Ehrenberg for a gentle, beginner-friendly workshop where we’ll walk you through the basics of astrology and how to begin reading your own natal chart. You’ll learn about the 12 zodiac signs, their types and elements and how to locate and understand your sun, moon, and rising signs—and why they matter.
This is not a workshop where your chart will be read for you, but it is a hands-on learning space where you’ll work directly with your own chart, ask questions, and begin to see how astrology can be a powerful tool for self-understanding.
Please bring a printed copy of your birth chart (and feel free to bring extra copies for note-taking). We’ll also provide a take-home guide to support your continued exploration after the workshop.
No prior astrology knowledge is needed—just bring your curiosity and your chart!
INSTRUCTIONS for creating your birth chart:
First Steps:
Visit Astro.com and pull up “Charts and Calculations.” Then, click on “Extended Chart Selection” - the website will now ask you to create a profile for free/log in. Once you’ve done that, you’ll want to enter your birth data as the website asks you to do/select the profile with your birth data.
Finally, you’ll be able to pull up your chart: if the website hasn’t automatically sent you back into “Extended Chart Selection” after making your own profile, click that one again.
Settings:
Now, you’ll see a big collapsible menu underneath your name: open up the section “Zodiac and Houses” and select “Whole sign” under “House System.”
Reading the Chart:
When you’re done, click the green button “Show Chart”: you’ll now see a list of all your astrological placements on your left, and your chart graphic to the right. If you click on the graphic, it will give you a printable and savable version of your chart to bring to the workshop and begin to review beforehand.
