Astro 9 was created by Grady Walston from West Des Moines during his senior year at Valley High School back in 2023! Each shirt design has an encouraging message + every purchase helps support local youth in crisis here in central Iowa. Now a college sophomore, Grady is still designing and running his small business between college dorm and commuting back to West Des Moines weekly for weekend pop up shops! All shirts are heat pressed at his family home right here in West Des Moines…were it all began. Almost 3,000 shirts and counting and over $5,000 raised.
