Heya folks! It's that time again: BAD MOVIE NIGHT! We're in February now and love is in the air! And just who has the human race celebrated their love for in paintings, poetry, song, and just about every form of art since the dawn of recorded history? That's right: the ladies. That's why this month's theme for bad movie night is GIRL POWER!We'll be having a look at a pair of not-so-great films that nevertheless do their best to glorify women and demonstrate that they, too, can be badasses... or, you know, at least that they can carry a movie without much in the way of the fellas. Running the gamut from grimy low budget sci-fi to an explosive women in prison/elite commando unit on a mission flick, we've got just about everything except verifiable quality: ACTION! ADVENTURE! PLOT TWISTS! MONTAGES! MUSICAL NUMBERS!
Join us Wednesday, February 26th at 7PM at the Mothership for this pair of flops. Admission is just $10 at the door, and this gets you free popcorn as well! As always, the usual gamut of snacks will also be available for purchase. So that being said, be sure to come on out! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll remember why some movies aren't revered as classics.
