Join ACMG Guide Will Woods for an AST 2 course! One 2.5 hr introduction evening Wednesday, January 7: 6 pm to 8:30 pm PT, Day 1 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in Revelstoke for class learning, Day 2+3: 7 am to 5 pm head to Rogers Pass for field lessons, Day 4: 7am to 5 pm, location TBD - focus on ski touring. Experience required: AST 1 or equivalent training and experience, Ability to ski tour approximately 800-1200 meters in elevation per day, Ability to ski/ride off-piste conditions in a controlled manner, Good knowledge of your riding gear and transitioning equipment from walk mode to ski mode. Gear required: Backcountry Ski Equipment (Skis/Board, touring binding, probe, beacon, shovel, snacks, water, extra warm clothes).
