Assist & Adjustment Course at Shakti Yoga rescheduled to January 2026. This course is for teachers and students!! .
This course is for yoga teachers who:
• Want to deepen their knowledge of queuing, assisting and adjusting.
• Desire to confidently lead a more hands on yoga class.
• Wish to help students have a safer and/or more impactful yoga practice.
• Enjoy learning about the power of yoga with like minded people.
• Need continuing education credits for Yoga Alliance.
This Course Is For Yoga Students Who:
•Enjoy learning about the power of yoga with like minded people.
•Want to know more about self assists.
•Wish to deepen their knowledge about yoga history & philosophy.
•Want to know how an assist should feel.
- Need confidence in receiving assists or saying no to assists.
You will learn:
Queuing, Assisting vs. Adjusting
Hands On Techniques
Consent + Communication
Body Language + Energy
Alignment + Refinement

It is highly encouraged that you attend all classes in the course. Each day will build on the last.
The Wednesday night sessions will be a one hour yoga class followed by a one hour discussion on the assists and adjustments in the class.
YOU will teach a Wednesday night class at least once and offer assists to the students.
