Asset Based Community Development Training

Join us for an exciting in-person training on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). This hands-on workshop will equip you with the tools and knowledge to empower your community and foster positive change.

Dates: 22 February, 21 March, 18 April, 16th May, 20th June

Time: 10:30-13:00

Location: Holloway Hall, B31 1TT

During this course, you'll learn practical strategies to identify and mobilise the strengths and assets within your community. Discover how to build strong relationships, promote collaboration, and tap into the collective potential of your neighbourhood. Whether you're a community leader, volunteer, or simply passionate about making a difference, this training is for you!

Some of the topics discussed include learning conversations, community building and active inclusion of all members of the community to create and implement a shared vision.

Things to note

  • The workshops are all in person at Holloway Hall, B31
  • The workshops are for people volunteering/working/supporting communities in Northfield and Edgbaston (South Birmingham).
  • You must commit to all 5 sessions.
  • Teas, coffees and lunch will be provided.
  • We may be able to reimburse participants for their time/money spent attending training, please get in touch for more information.
  • There will an opportunity to apply for a micro grant on completion.
