About this Event
This is a free event open to community members in Assembly District 6 with the goal of making the holiday season brighter for those in need. At the open house, we will be asking each attendee to bring a new unwrapped gift to be donated for distribution to local families. The gifts will be provided to the families of a longstanding non-profit in our area, Women’s Empowerment. Over the last 20 years, Women’s Empowerment has been serving homeless women and children in the Sacramento region, assisting women in gaining employment and finding safe stable housing through their Job-Readiness and Empowerment Program.
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided. Free parking will be available to all attendees.
Donation of a new, unwrapped gift will be required for entry to the event.
