Asphalt Jungle Shorts – site specific theatre at the intersection of Theatre and Reality in downtown KitchenerWeek 1 SEPTEMBER 18 - 19 - 20th.
This will be the twenty-second instalment of Asphalt Jungle Shorts – that has been staged in Kitchener, Waterloo and St. Jacobs. Playwrights from around the world submit to this event. In the past, we've produced plays from USA, England, Ireland, Australia, Israel, as well as from playwrights both national and local. We have staged plays in a hotel swimming pool, a garbage dumpster, bookstore, cafes, a bridge, and our greatest achievement, a 20 feet below the sidewalk with the audience watching through a large grate.
Asphalt Jungle Shorts - where the lines between theatre and reality are blurred.
We will experience that last third of the evening at TAMASHA - a new downtown Indian Restaurant - soooo - Come hungry. Come thirsty. Orders for food and drinks will be taken when we arrive for a 15 min. intermission.
NOTE: The audience is limited to 50.
Tickets are $25 - CASH AT THE DOOR
We've found the ticket apps way too frustrating.
