About this Event
Applications of Welding is a comprehensive course designed to provide a foundation in welding fundamentals. Throughout this four-day course, you will learn important welding terms and definitions, various types of welds and processes, and the major considerations to consider when designing a weld. As you progress throughout the course, you will also learn about the relationship between AWS, ASME, and API codes and standards, non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, and the key elements of a quality welding program. This course employs in-class exercises to reinforce class lectures on the subjects of welding and NDE symbols, carbon equivalence, A-numbers, strength of welds, joint details, welding procedures, selection of filler metals, and preheat.
A Certificate of Completion will be issued to registrants who successfully attend and complete the course.
