*ASL Thornhill Hangout Coffee Chats are Wednesdays, 1 or 2 times per month from late Spring to end of Fall, and once per month in the winter, starting in December or January, weather dependent.*We meet from 6:00pm-8:00pm (mall closes at 8pm and we cannot stay later than that).

* We meet in-person, at Centre Court (downstairs, large open seating area, just ouside the Food Court)
ABOUT US:
Founded in the summer of 2018 by Pamela Varano, we are a social club for d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, Hearing Signers, ASL Students, and ASL Interpreters; all individuals who either use ASL or are learning ASL. We meet for "ASL coffee” to chat in sign (no voices allowed). Our group is also a great opportunity for students to practise their receptive and expressive ASL conversation skills with Native and Advanced Signers. Please come join *ASL Thornhill Hangout* for a silent social evening of ASL Coffee Chat!
VOICE OFF / SOCIAL CLUB:
*We are a VOICE-OFF social club
*All ASL skills levels are welcome, but some basic ASL skills are recommended
*This is a social hangout/club; not a class
*People of all ASL skill levels are welcome to join (beginner to advanced)
*d/Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Hearing Signers, ASL Students, ASL Interpreters… everyone is welcome
COST:
*No cost to attend, but please support the mall businesses by buying a food or beverage item
PARKING / TRANSIT / ENTRANCE:
*Lots of free parking
*Accessible by Viva/YRT; directly across from Promenade Bus Terminal
*Nearest entrances: downstairs, entry #4 (northwest side), or upstairs main entrance #1 (east side, facing Bathurst)
