NOTE: In light of Thanksgiving, this event will be held on the 3rd Thursday instead of the usual last Thursday. There will be no ASL Social on the month of December.Deaf OR Hearing! ALL ARE WELCOME!!!
Be mindful for this is an opportunity not only for the Deaf people to meet their friends, and hang out, but for those who are LEARNING ASL too. This is their chance to immerse themselves into our world so they may observe, learn, and grow their skills. So, we ask everybody to be DEAF-FRIENDLY! 🙂
Meet and greet with new/old friends using ASL. Enjoy a Taco or two, and socialize with members of the Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing community as well as Deaf professionals.
Improve your signing skills by learning how to interact in an visual language-rich environment. Observe and learn about our unique culture.
