Wilderness Inquiry is excited to host our 4th Annual ASL Day on the River 2024! Members and families of the Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and ASL communities are invited on an adventure in the heart of the Twin Cities. Explore the mighty Mississippi River up close and personal on a half-day guided canoe trip (1-4 p.m.). Paddling the Mississippi in one of our beautiful 24-foot cedar strip canoes is easy and fun for everyone! This popular adventure takes place in our local National Park – the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (MNRRA). You will discover wildlife and experience the amazing history of the river.
Bring a lunch to enjoy with the Wilderness Inquiry outdoor leaders at 11:30 a.m. before the paddling begins at 1 p.m.
Fee: $10 a person.
This trip will fill up quickly. Reserve your spot by July 31!
