Bring your personal branding questions and challenges to a group coaching discussion, facilitated by two Alumni career coaches.

Group coaching offers you a safe space to get clear on your individual goals and objectives and share your challenges and concerns around a pre-determined career theme. Through this facilitated discussion you have the opportunity to leverage different perspectives and expertise to deepen your career learning and feel supported and empowered to take action.

To get the most out of group coaching it is important you come prepared to participate, to ask questions, and to provide your own thoughts and opinions to the rest of the group to support each-others career development in the spirit of peer-to-peer learning. In order to participate fully you will need to have your video switched on and be prepared to unmute and engage in the conversation. Please be mindful of this when signing up, as attendees who cannot participate in this manner will unfortunately not be able to remain in the session.

About this Session

Creating an effective LinkedIn profile is a critical component of effective networking and personal brand building. In this ‘Ask the Coach’ session we’ll be talking about how you can get the most from the platform, the key areas you need to pay attention to and what makes a good LinkedIn profile. Come prepared to share your LinkedIn profile to get feedback, and to give constructive feedback to your peers on theirs.

Your coaches

Mhorag Doig – Head of Alumni Careers, London Business School

Mhorag joined LBS in late 2019 to grow and develop the Alumni Career Centre. She has varied experience across Asset Management and HR Executive Search, Higher Education, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to relocating back to London in 2019, Mhorag worked in the HR Centre of Expertise for Global Executive Search firm Korn Ferry, based out of their Zurich Office, where she delivered global CHRO searches for several global blue-chip clients.

She is a trained Coach and a certified Belbin and MHS Emotional Intelligence diagnostic facilitator. She also coaches and mentors mid-career and leadership professionals across a variety of industries through her own coaching practice careeriosity.co and sits on the Board of the MBA Careers Services for Working Professionals Alliance – an organisation supporting leading Business Schools globally to enhance their effectiveness in working with Executive MBA, Part-Time MBA and Alumni communities.

Kira Hughes - Head of Early Careers, London Business School

Kira is the Head of Early Careers where she is responsible for the design and delivery of the Career Skills curriculum for the G/MIM,MFA and MAM programmes. She also supports students across all three programes, coaching them through a variety of career transitions.

Prior to joining LBS, Kira spent 8 years at Imperial College Business School, leading on the Careers programme for their ten Masters programmes, and working with MBA and Executive MBA students as a Career Coach and Consultant. She is a qualified coach and holds a number of psychometric certifications including, MBTi, NEO and Strengthscope. Kira's prior experience in recruitment and HR across a variety of blue-chip corporates and professional services firms enables her to share recruiter insight when supporting students through competitive recruitment processes.

Kira holds a Bachelors in French and Russian from Manchester University and a Masters in Personnel and Development.

Her career work focuses on increasing self-awareness, helping to discover opportunities and encouraging clients to take action to create the careers they want.
