The Round Rock Public Library is hosting a workshop series on Tuesdays from October 5 – October 19 at Play for All Abilities Park for children ages 1-3 and their parents/caregivers. Over the course of three weeks, parents/caregivers and children can spend time together, play, make friends, and talk one-on-one with specialists on child development. Please pre-register for each individual session.
How does it work? While playing at the park, you will have the opportunity to meet other families and speak with a child development specialist. One specialist will be available each week, including a dietician, speech-language pathologist, and a pediatrician to answer any questions you may have about your child. Staff from the Round Rock Public Library will also be available to provide information about the resources, services, and collections at the library. All families will receive an information packet from the library along with a free book for their child.
Schedule of Specialists:
Week 1, October 5: Dietician from WIC
Week 2, October 12: Speech Language Pathologist from Bluebonnet Trails Community Services
Week 3, October 19: Pediatrician from Baylor Scott & White
