Join us as we bring together staff, volunteers and supporters of ASIOX to put together Winter Hampers for our current and past clients.
ASIOX clients have experienced exploitation and this often leads to financial vulnerability as well as isolation. Clients often say that their Winter Hamper is one of the most valuable parts of ASIOX support, making them feel cared for and supported during the holiday season.
There will be opportunity to get creative and make cards for clients and pack indiviualised hampers of food and gifts for them. We want each client to receive a card, a hamper, 1-2 gifts and a gift voucher. Some clients have children, so we want to provide a gift for them too.
Once you register we will email you with ideas for the hampers so that you know what to bring - it's a great way to get your work colleagues, family, friends and community engaged in donating items for the hampers. Or why not gather a group and come together?
We will provide refreshments and wrapping materials. Please bring your own scissors.
Please feel free to bring children with you and note there is free parking at the school. The Congestion Charge on Holloway doesn't apply after 6pm so you will not be charged.
