Ashtanga Full Primary Series Workshop
Join Jess to move through the full Ashtanga yoga primary series.
This set sequence is a wonderful exploration of body and breath, set to a count and rhythm that keeps you present as you move through the postures.
A challenging, yet rewarding sequence, and modifications will (of course!) be offered. Each month you will grow more familiar with the sequence and allow yourself to sink into the practice and reap its many benefits.
Perfect for:
- Some yoga experience is encouraged as this is a dynamic sequence but Ashtanga newbies welcome!
- Where needed, Jess will demo and talk you through the postures - so don't worry if you don’t know the whole series.
About Jess
Jess began practising yoga in California, embedding it into her daily life upon realising the many physical and mental benefits. As a musician, Jess found that flowing, especially to music, was a valuable and expressive tool that could alter mood and energy levels, whilst also strengthening and releasing tension from the body.
Now a 200hr registered yoga teacher, Jess’ classes are influenced by Vinyasa and Ashtanga practices while also embedding yin and restorative styles. Jess offers modifications and variations throughout her classes to make them accessible to all, builds awareness of the mind body connection and in turn, enables everyone, to feel the many benefits of a holistic yoga practice.
