The weekend of January 10-11th 2026, we invite you to a city-retreat at our shala in Malmö, Värnhem For two whole days, we practice yoga together, go through some basic principles of Ashtanga yoga such as breath technique and bandha application; vinyasa (coordinated breathing and movement); explore mobility and strength through physical exercises and drills followed by slowing down with yin yoga, meditation and mindfulness. At lunch time, we have brown bag lunch together with Q&A where the teachers answer your questions (bring your lunch and prepared questions). Let's start 2026 as a community and lay a good foundation for the coming year.The weekend is open to all levels of practitioners but requires some foundational experience of Ashtanga yoga (beginners are expected to have taken a beginner’s course and be familiar with sun salutations as well as the standing sequence in Ashtanga yoga).
