Comedy.HK's debut event at TakeOut Comedy Club! Ashley James is a stand-up comedian from London who moved to Hong Kong to escape his desk job to another desk job but with a better view. Ashley’s style of humour is saying horrible things to make you laugh, and then making you laugh at his life. Ashley's sardonic wit and unique stage presence quickly saw him become a regular in Hong Kong. He has opened for many marquee acts, including the biggest stand-up comedy show in Hong Kong of 2021: Vivek's Mahbubani's Humour Along My Hairline at Ocean Park, and has sold out his two previous headline shows: I Am Trash and The Great Trashley. Despite this, he is annoyed about how he is recognised more for making all the memes on Chaotic Hong Kong Expats.
