Ashley Carr is an USEA ECP Level III instructor and FEI - level trainer known for her calm, detailed, and effective teaching style. With experience competing at the FEI level in eventing and developing horses and riders from the introductory levels through FEI competition, she brings depth and clarity to every clinic. Ashley specializes in identifying training gaps and helping horses overcome foundational gaps in their training, overcoming PTSD from previous discomfort-related challenges, focusing on behavior modifcation, thoughtful conditioning, and producing "solid citizen" horses. Influenced by her education with Sandy Hotz and Jan Byyny, her instruction blends classical foundations with modern biomechanics and equine behavior, always prioritizing safety, clarity, and partnership.
We are excited to welcome her to Sunrise on Saturday, January 3rd and on Monday, January 5th.
She is available for lessons 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, and 8:00 am to 4 pm on Monday.
