Asheville Fusion Dance is a fusion dance initiative birthed out of a local, community-led desire to bring a sustainable, authentic, and connection-focused fusion scene back to the greater Asheville area. Come out and dance with us at Uphora Dance Studio in West Asheville, where a smooth sprung floor, a high-end sound system, and a great lighting set-up are ready to welcome you into a full night of connected dancing!
No matter if you are new to fusion dancing or if you are a seasoned dancer, Asheville Fusion Dance is so excited to welcome you to be a part of our community.

7pm-8pm - Instructor: Carolyn Wakefield of Blue Ridge, GA
Lesson info: "Intro to Micro Fusion"
Carolyn's class will cover the basics of fusion dancing and move onto fundamentals of micro. Micro fusion is a great way to connect with your partner through isolated movements and close attention to musical detail, perfect for late-night gooey vibes!
Carolyn has been teaching fusion and micro for many years and is the founder of Placerville Fusion in California. Come on out for a great class with this seasoned dancer and instructor!
