About this Event
July 11th and July 12th, 2025, marks the first annual Asheville Doomed and Stoned Fest. An official festival from the popular Doomed and Stoned blog formed in 2013 that covers everything heavy metal. Shortly after, official Doomed and Stoned Fests started spreading across the US, including Chicago, Portland, Indianapolis, Ohio, Wisconsin and even Australia. Over the last 10 years some of the best bands in the doom and stoner metal genres played on a Doomed and Stoned Fest and now it's time to bring this festival to the mountains of Asheville.
Asheville's heavy underground music scene has a strong pulse and becoming widely recognized throughout the world. Since its inception in 2022, Grasping Air Booking has brought in over 100 bands from across the country and over seas to share the mighty riff with the community of Asheville. We strive to build upon the strong music foundation in Asheville and host a festival known worldwide by music fans.
