Have you ever been part of a short film that was screened at Cannes? Here's your chance! Come out and meet other local filmmakers interested in joining a team as cast or crew, or creating a filmmaking team for the Asheville 48 Hour Film Project. Also present will be a 2-time winner of Best Film in this competition to answer your questions about making your perfect short film. This is the 20th year for the Asheville competition, which is part of the 48 Hour Film Project, the largest Independent Film Competition in the world! The Best Film winner from the Asheville event on July 26-28th will move on to be screened at Filmapalooza 2025 and earn a chance to be screened at Cannes!
This meet up event is hosted by one of our sponsors, Asheville School of Film, and located at the Asheville Studio at the Highland Brewing complex.
