The Ashburton Volunteer Fire Brigade would love for you to join us as we are proudly celebrating a commemorative milestone as we hit our 150th anniversary. 🚒🎉 On Saturday the 23rd of November at 10am-2pm we are holding a fun filled, hands on day at the Ashburton Fire Station that every one of all ages can be a part of!
If you love all things vintage to our newest and shiniest appliances this is for you! You’ll be able to experience the 1874 Shand Mason steamer in operation all day along with your chance to test your skills with the Merry Weather hand pump.🚒
Here at the Ashburton Fire Station we love to educate in keeping everyone safe. Our expert Firefighters will be there to provide you with onsite Fire Safety Information and will also be showing you the live fire kitchen display. 🔥 🚨
If that isn’t enough excitement then make sure you are around at 12pm to watch your local Firefighters complete a Rescue Tool Display. 🚗 🚒 🧰
This is an action packed day for the whole family, we have a colouring competition for the kids along with plenty of food and drinks. 🖍️ 🥤🌯
