Why Ash Wednesday?
On this day, we receive ashes as a visible reminder of our humanity and our hope. The words spoken, “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return”, call us to pause and to reflect. Ashes remind us that we are human, in need of grace, and always invited into renewal.
Wherever you are on your journey, we invite you to begin Lent with this simple, sacred ritual.
