We will be discssuing responding to and carding for patients with behavioral and mental health needs - including pediatrics. We'll discuss pre-hospital care, including the latest advancements, techniques, and best practices, presented by Ascension St. Vincent ER physicians, behaviorial health professionals and staff.

APRIL TOPIC: Behavioral Emergencies
Info: Caring for the patient with a behavioral emergency can be challenging - especially in kids! We're going to take a systematic approach to assessment, discuss strategies for treatment and other special needs of this patient population. This course is intended for all First Responders, EMTs, Paramedics, and prehospital responders. We'll also do some hands-on training to ensure we're giving our patients the best care possible.
