Ascendent Messages is an immersive concert featuring new works for classical guitar, percussion, and electronics. Join acclaimed musicians Paul Tanner and Jonathan Fitzgerald as they present the world premiere performance of four new commissions by award-winning Australian composers Maria Grenfell, Alice Humphries, Kate Milligan, and Kathy Potter.Each work showcases the distinct voice of its composer, creating an engaging and diverse program that ranges from the tuneful to the experimental, which will resonate with both seasoned listeners and newcomers alike.
Ascendent Messages is presented as part of the 2025 Fringe World Festival with support from the WA Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
