We are pleased to announce that Crystal Lee (Deputy Executive Director, The Development Group: Shared Services) and Emery Molnar (Deputy Executive Director, Airports Development Program) of Los Angeles World Airports will be joining us to discuss current and upcoming projects at LAX.
The timeline for our luncheon will be as follows:
- Check-in and networking - 11:00am to 11:30am
- Lunch - 11:30am to 12:00pm
- Program - 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Speaker Bio, Crystal Lee: Crystal Lee has worked at the city of Los Angeles for over 18 years. She currently is at Los Angeles World Airports as Deputy Executive Director in the Airport Development Group, aiding in delivering a $32 Billon Capital Improvements Program. Throughout her tenure with the City, Crystal has amassed extensive experience across various departments. She began her journey at the Harbor Department, where she managed multi-million-dollar projects and mentored student engineers and young associates. Her exemplary performance led to a promotion to the Department of Public Works: Bureau of Engineering (BOE). At BOE, Crystal promoted to be the first female District Engineer at Public Works. She left BOE as Deputy City Engineer, and one of the youngest female deputies in the department’s history.
Crystal is passionate about coaching and mentoring young individuals, particularly aspiring engineers. She is dedicated to fostering leadership skills and helping them navigate professional challenges. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, California State University, Long Beach, and Loyola Marymount University. She currently holds a Professional Engineering license, Institute of Sustainability ENV-SP certification, certification from UCLA leadership, and certification from the Society of Human Resource Management.
With a broad perspective gained from her education, private industry experience, and public sector operations, Crystal brings a unique strategic vision to her work. Her commitment to policies, projects, and initiatives that benefit the community drives her motivation as a public servant.

Speaker Bio, Emery Molnar: Mr. Molnar has over 35 years experience in the Los Angeles construction market with leadership positions in general contracting and real estate development. Skilled in multiple type delivery includes Progressive and Stipulated Sum Design Build, Design Build Bid, Construction Manager at Risk and Public Private Partnership.
LAX experience includes North Terminals Inline Baggage Screening, Delta T5 FIS, Delta T5 Landside Improvements and Westfield Concessions T1, T2 and T3 airside redevelopments.
Emery is an active board member with the Los Angeles Orange County Ace Mentor program and Women in Construction Operations (WiOps).
