Mark your calendars for the ASCA Annual General Meeting on 26 November. We're calling for nominations for key leadership positions as we continue to shape the future of smart communities across Australia.
We're inviting passionate members to take an active role in guiding ASCA’s journey toward its 2030 Strategic Plan. Serving as a Board Director is a unique opportunity to:
- Influence ASCA’s direction and priorities
- Collaborate and network with peers
- Gain valuable governance and leadership experience
Board Directors are covered by insurance, meet every six weeks, and take on responsibilities aligned with their role and the 2026–27 Operational Plan. A dedicated planning session will be held shortly after the AGM to ensure we're ready to hit the ground running in 2026.
Available Positions:
- President and Vice President (office bearer positions)
- 3 Ordinary Board Members (currently held by Simon Berryman, Bronwen Clark, and Nathaniel Bavinton)
Key Dates:
- Nominations close: 5pm, Wednesday 12 November 2025
- AGM: 26 November 2025
All nominees must be current financial ASCA members (either individual or organisational membership). Positions are for a 24-month term or as agreed by the board, in accordance with the Charter Model Rules.
