The Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC) is pleased to announce that two of its staff members, Ray Kryeski, Mechanical Engineer, and Brian Matyjevich, Lean Enterprise Consultant, will host NEPIRC’s AS9100:2016 Revision D Internal Auditor Training. The AS9100:2016 focuses specifically on the aerospace industry and is part of the comprehensive standards produced by the Americas Aerospace Quality Group (AAQG) and the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG).
Requirements: This four-day course will provide attendees with a detailed overview of the AS9100 (Rev D.) requirements. It is also designed to prepare individuals to conduct internal audits to the AS9100 Standard.
The curriculum includes:
- Techniques for documenting and implementing: required procedures, work instructions and records
- The process approach
- Techniques for document and record control
- Guidelines for quality planning
- Implementation of a vendor approval process
- Guidelines for implementing corrective/ preventive action
- Implementation of a calibration system
- Management review process
- System or performance development indicator
- Registrar selection process

Instructor bios:
Ray Kryeski, Mechanical Engineer: Ray works with clients to address their unique lean enterprise challenges and maximize their results of lean enterprise implementations. His areas of expertise include practical problem solving, 6S training, value stream mapping, ISO 9001 & AS9100 implementation and process layout. Ray has obtained his lead auditor certification for ISO 9001 and a certificate for AS 9100 auditor training.
Brian Matyjevich, Lean Enterprise Consultant: Brian has over 26 years’ experience with increasing yield, productivity, efficiency, OEE, safety, 5S/6S and other lean enterprise solutions. He also possesses ISO 9001:2015, ISO19011:2018 and AS9100 auditor credentials.
