AS1668 Part 2 has been revised - here are the key updates
About this Event

AS1668 Part 2 is one of the most important Australian Standards from a built environment perspective. It dictates the minimum requirements for ventilation in our buildings and compliance is critical to the wellbeing and safety of building occupants. That said AS1668 Part 1 also deals with safety aspects around building ventilation, and too often the two become confused.

Following a lengthy consultation phase, AS1668 Part 2 has now been revised, and CIBSE are delighted to host this important technical session, giving you the opportunity to hear first-hand from one of the committee members involved in the revision. You will get an insight into the major changes; why Part 2 has taken a further step in delineating itself from Part 1; and most importantly, what you need to do to remain Code compliant.

The presentation will be supplemented by a second presentation that reinforces the importance of good air quality as well as highlighting some of the knock on changes that might come into play in some of the tools that speak to or reference AS1668.2
